Sydney Royal Easter Show 2019 The Annual Sydney Royal Easter Show 2019 is back again. The celebration of Australian culture, both rural traditions to modern day lifestyles, projects a unique experience for everyone. Every year, the classic Easter show brings the country and city together at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park for twelve days from Friday 12 April to Tuesday 23 April, 2019. Sydney Easter Parade Join thousands of Sydneysiders in celebrating the true meaning of Easter with the Sydney Easter Parade at Hyde Park on the St James Station side. This celebration is a day filled of hope, love and joy, for the whole family to enjoy. This parade welcomes different ethnic heritages, age groups, different ministries and churches from various denominations to come together in celebrating a unified theme of Jesus on Easter Monday, April 22 2019 from 10am to 1pm. The celebrations in the parade include giant inflatables, animal costumes, marching band, silt walkers, and other creative and colourful displays. The serene sound of peace and joy pulsates through the atmosphere creating a welcoming celebration of the resurrection of Christ and Australian Christians.

Anzac Day March Join Sydney’s ANZAC Day March on the 25th of April 2019. This march honours those who have served Australia and remembers those who have sacrificed their life for their service. The Order of March will be WWII veterans followed by Navy/Army/Air Force (in conflict order), civilians in support of Australian Troops, descendants of Australian veterans, Commonwealth and allies. The march begins at 9am at the intersection of Martin Place and Elizabeth Street and finishes at the end of Hyde Park at Liverpool Street.

Sydney Comedy Festival Sydney’s biggest annual comedy event is here again. Every April and May hundreds of the world’s funniest comedians entertain Sydney at the Sydney Comedy Festival from 22 April to 19 May 2019. The Festival starts off with grand gala events: the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala at the Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre, The Concourse Chatswood and Riverside Theatres in Parramatta. A collection of different comedic styles will be showcased everything from stand up to sketch, satire, improv, musical, absurdist, theatre, magic and kids comedy.
